MMA legend and former ONE Championship bantamweight king Bibiano Fernandes is preparing for his 15th match inside the circle at ONE on Prime Video 4. The Brazilian star who has been in the fraternity for over 10 years now, is aware of the fact that his style is very different from the rest.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fernandes, the No. 3-ranked bantamweight contender, is slated to face No. 5-ranked rising contender Stephen Loman at ONE on Prime Video 4 in one of the most awaited battles of the season. The bout will serve as the Brazilian’s first fight since losing his title to John Lineker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The star wrestler is already throwing up some stones with the trash talk, suggesting to Stephen Loman that no player who battles him wants to re-enter the ring with him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“My style is different. Before, when I competed in jiu-jitsu, people said \u2018Oh I\u2019m not afraid to fight Bibiano.\u2019 But after they go into my game, they don\u2019t want to go back in there. They say \u2018Oh f*ck, I don\u2019t want to fight this guy in his game,” Bibiano said in an interview. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fernandes is currently having an on-and-off relationship with the belt in recent times. After losing it to Kevin Belingon, the 42-year-old was given an instant rematch not long after and managed to defeat the Philippine boxer. However, after losing the title to John Lineker, the player has not earned a rematch and aims to work his way up again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fight against Lineker did not go his way and the fact that he had a long layoff before that fixture played a part in his defeat. Experts believe the Brazilian might emerge with some new tactics and approaches when he faces Stephen Loman this Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fernandes said in an interview that he has been working relentlessly to get back in shape ahead of this big game. He went on to add that not fighting for years spoilt his rhythm but he has been working on it and is expected to emerge with a different outlook altogether.
